Holy Sepulchre
As we step into the Church, right near the entrance we see The Stone Of Unction.
This pink polished stone surrounded by candles and 8 lamps hanging above it - is a eighth station of Jesus' Way of Cross.

Jesus' body was placed on that stone after He was removed from the cross and anointed with myrrh and aloe.

As we touch the stone we can feel some kind of current getting through us.
Also we can touch the oils by the side of that stone.

As we make a few steps to the right we reach the place of Jesus' execution.
Now in that spot stands a Chapel Of The Crucifixion and the Calvary.
The Chapel of the Crucifixion is belongs to the Roman Catholic Church and it's commemorates the X and XI stations (Jesus was stripped of His garments and where Jesus was nailed to the Cross).
The Calvary is belongs to the Greek Orthodox Church and it is commemorates the XII station - where Jesus has died on the Cross.
On that spot we can see the full-size images of Jesus, Virgin Mary and St. John.
Beneath the image of Jesus there is a rock with a silver ring which indicates the exact spot where the Cross was raised.

As we turn to the left, right in the center of the Holy Sepulchre we find a very special place - Christ's Tomb.

The way to this tomb leads us to a room called Church of the Archangel.
The rock in the center marks the spot where the angel is sat while he told the women about Jesus' ressuraction.

As we move further we come into the room whith the original rock where Jesus Christ lay down after He was taken down the Cross.

Above the tomb we can see many silver lamps which belongs to every congregations. Right above the stone there is an icons with Greek, Latin and Armenian versions of ressuraction of Jesus Christ.
